Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the FutureSmart platform. These terms constitute a legal agreement between your school and FutureSmart Tanzania.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the FutureSmart platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. Schools using FutureSmart accept these terms on behalf of their institution.
2. Service Description
FutureSmart provides a cloud based student record management platform for Tanzanian schools. Features include student enrollment, attendance, examinations, fee management, parent communication, and reporting modules. Features vary by subscription plan.
3. Subscription & Payment
FutureSmart is offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis, billed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Payments are accepted via M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, HaloPesa, and bank transfer. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 30 day free trial with full access to the selected plan's features. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial period, the account will be suspended until a subscription is activated.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use FutureSmart only for lawful school management purposes. You must not attempt to reverse engineer the platform, access other schools' data, or use the service to store illegal content. Violation of acceptable use may result in immediate account termination.
6. Data Ownership
All student records and school data uploaded to FutureSmart remain the property of your school. FutureSmart does not claim ownership of your data. Upon termination, you may export all data within the 90-day retention period.
7. Limitation of Liability
FutureSmart's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
